It's always great when you grasp a new strategy - especially in maths!
Today Koka Ngaire sat on the floor while Felix took us through his understanding of our new strategy to add fractions that have uncommon denominators.
He followed all the steps to success and could clearly explain what he was doing... a great example of sharing with others, cements your own learning!
Ka pai Felix!

ReplyDeleteTino pai, Felix! I love the feeling of learning something new. I might need you to explain your process to my Stage 7 maths group! We sometimes forget the process but usually get there in the end. Are there multiple ways that you can solve these kinds of equations? I look forward to seeing a screencastify from you if you make one.
